Another one of the “beautiful machines”.

This necklace celebrates the classic bicycle! The chain on this is vintage orange glass beads, the pendant is one of my two-sided soldered glass art pendants and the drop is made from one link of the orange glass chain and an opaque Czech glass bead in the most fantastic chartreuse.

The flip side of the pendant contains a fun bit of bold, graphic, black and white paper. The paper on this side is a good complement for the simplicity of the bicycle design.

The entire necklace is lightly oxidized in order to harmonize the new and old elements.

This one is short, not quite 16”, as the style looks best worn close to the base of the neck. I do have enough of the chain to lengthen it to 18” if you want a bit more length.

All wire and rings on the pendant are sterling. The chain is vintage of unknown metal and the toggle clasp is silverplate.
