According to H.L. Mencken, “Man is a beautiful machine that works very badly.” I know he was referring to more about mankind than the human body, and that’s good because I certainly think that the human body could be considered a machine that works very well!
A copy of a vintage anatomical illustration is on one side of this necklace, while the other side
has a bold bit of paper in black and white. This black and white paper is a great complement for the numbers in the anatomical illustration on the other side. Besides, I just like the graphic impact of the random numbers!
The pendant is 1” wide X 2 1/8” tall from the top of the ring to the bottom of the crystal clear, faceted Czech glass bead. I admit that the clear beads are difficult to photograph but I like to use them because they add some subtle sparkle without adding other colors – and they reflect whatever color you might be wearing!
All wire and rings on the pendant are sterling while the chain is an 18” silverplate ball chain.
